There are very few milestones as important and life-changing as going through a gender transition.

To reflect the journey you have made, why not celebrate the new you and embrace all that you are and all that you wish to be. A transgender re-birthing or re-naming ceremony brings together friends, family, your community, whoever you want, to bear witness and acknowledge the person you were always meant to be.

We will work together to create a bespoke rebirthing or renaming ceremony ceremony as unique as you are, which reflects the real you - your spirituality, identity and lifestyle. Whether you'd like a ceremony packed full of energy, personality and celebration with 100s of people present, or a relaxing, joy filled ceremony with a handful of people present, together we can create whatever suits your style. And that ceremony will mark the beginning of the rest of your life.

It's a great way to tell a big group of people in your life that from that point on you'd like to be known by your new chosen name and your preferred pronouns. The venue is your choice, it could be your kitchen or back garden, your local park, a restaurant function room, by the beach, anywhere of your choosing.

  • Contact me to check date availability.

  • We will meet to plan your ceremony either in person or by video call. Together we can explore the elements you would like included such as poems, stories, music, readings, tributes, messages, songs, and where fitting we can include a ‘letting go of who you were before stepping into your authentic self element in your ceremony.

  • Decide who you would like to invite to your transgender renaming ceremony

  • Decide who you would like to be involved and what their role would be in the ceremony on the day.

  • Once you have decided on the number of people you'll invite, decide on the venue that works best for you.

  • Agree the day, date, time and venue!

  • Book a photographer or videographer, cake, musician, flowers if you're having. 

  • On the day I will arrive 45-60 minutes before the ceremony to arrange the set up and to go over any questions you might have in advance of the ceremony.
